Born in Guatemala City, Mario graduated from Rafael Landivar University and obtained the degrees of Attorney and Notary in 2012. After working for almost 10 years for one of the most prestigious banks of the country, Mario emigrated to the United States where he has resided since 2015.
An immigrant himself, Mario developed an interest and passion for immigration laws since his arrival to the Unites States. On this account, he began working in 2015 as a legal assistant at the immigration law firm Federal Immigration Counselors, AZ. Being his passion and motivation to advocate for immigrants before the United States Immigration Courts, Mario decided to apply and was later admitted at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2016.
After obtaining his Juris Doctor degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and being admitted to practice law by the New Mexico Supreme Court in 2019, Mario once again joined the team of the Federal Immigration Counselors, AZ but this time as an attorney authorized to practice law in the United States.
