Jessica Lewis is a senior attorney at Federal Immigration Counselors and specializes in Habeas Corpus petitions in the Federal District Courts, appellate arguments, bonds and innovative forms of relief for detained and non-detained clients.
She is a native of Phoenix, Arizona and is fluent in Spanish. She graduated from the Gonzaga University school of law in May 2013. She also has a diploma from the Pacific McGeorge University School of Law in Inter-American legal studies. She spent a year in Guatemala and worked for the Human Rights Ombudsman in Guatemala City. She has worked with the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office, the Washington State Office of the Attorney General and interned at Fairfield Air Force Base JAGC office. She is a member of the Arizona state bar.
She is married to a fellow immigration lawyer and has one beautiful child. She enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures and advancing the rights of immigrants in the United States.
